Company Town : Appointments Continue at Fox Group

Fox Broadcasting Group continued its recent flurry of promotions and appointments, the most recent ones in the program development area.

Danielle Claman was promoted to vice president, drama development, and Theresa Edy joined the company as vice president, comedy development, from Twentieth Television. Kelly McCray was named director of comedy development.

Separately, Bob Harbin was promoted to senior vice president, talent and casting. Other appointments this week included Bill Coveney’s being named senior vice president, current programming, and Jonathan Littman’s being named vice president of current programming.

* John J. Tomko was named vice president of producer Witt-Thomas Films.

* Laura Bakotich was named manager of special projects and events at Universal City Studios Facilities Rental Division, and Jennifer Kelsey was named manager of the TV Commercial Production Department.

* Thomas G. Hays was promoted to vice president, studio protection, for Paramount Pictures.

* Paul Pressler was promoted to president of The Disney Store-Worldwide.

* Anthony J. Adamski Jr. was named vice president and director of worldwide anti-piracy for the Motion Picture Export Assn. of America.

* Cory Concoff joined the literary department of United Talent Agency.

* Jill Jones was named vice president, advertising and promotion, for MGM Domestic Television Distribution. Separately, Marcia Spielholz was named senior vice president of business affairs for MGM/UA Telecommunications Group.
