Valley Rangers Spurred by Farlow

Brad Farlow tripled home three runs in the first inning and lifted the Valley Rangers into today’s Connie Mack Baseball state championship game at Blair Field.

The Rangers defeated the Fontana Stars, 8-0, with Steve Brown (3-0) pitching five innings.

Farlow drove in four runs. Mike Glendenning was four for four, driving in two runs and scoring three.

The Rangers (26-2) will face Long Beach in today’s 6 p.m. championship game.
