SANTA ANA — Police are asking for help in locating a private security guard reported missing by his family since July 26.
Michael Jerome Williams, 32, left his home in the 3700 block of South Van Ness Street 10 days ago to pick up uniforms and has not returned or contacted his family, said Santa Ana Police Sgt. Dick Faust.
Early Friday Faust said, Anaheim police stopped three teen-agers driving Williams’ rented, 1991 Ford Taurus. The teen-agers were questioned and denied knowing Williams and were released, Faust said.
Williams, who worked in Santa Ana, is African American, about 5-feet-8 and 170 pounds, Faust said. He is missing two front teeth. He has brown eyes and short hair, and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt. Williams has no known medical or mental problems. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact Santa Ana police at (714) 834-4801, or Investigator B. Rodriguez.
