Pan African Film Fest Sets Outreach Program
The third annual Pan African Film Festival, to be held at Laemmle Sunset 5 Theatres Oct. 12-26, is inviting L.A. County middle- and high-school teachers to have their students participate in StudentFest, a cinematic educational outreach program.
Students will be bused to the theater for a free screening of “More Time,” a film from Zimbabwe focusing on the universal problems of youth in this time of AIDS, and discussions with filmmakers and community leaders.
