Two Drivers Hurt in Crash at Intersection
Two drivers were critically injured Friday in a three-car collision at the intersection of Dale Avenue and Ball Road, police said.
David Louis O’Keefe, 33, of Garden Grove and Albena Phillipina Bosch, 58, of Stanton were reported in critical condition late Friday at UCI Medical Center in Orange.
A third driver, Viora Tira, 42, of Anaheim was treated for moderate injuries to her legs at West Anaheim Medical Center.
Witnesses told police that shortly after 7 a.m., O’Keefe failed to stop at a red light at Ball Road and was struck by Tira’s car, traveling south on Dale. The impact knocked O’Keefe’s car into Bosch’s.
No citations were issued and the investigation is continuing, police said.
