Jail Visitation Stopped After Disturbance
SANTA ANA —
An altercation among inmates at the Orange County Men’s Jail on Sunday forced sheriff’s officials to halt inmate visitation for several hours, authorities said.
The disturbance apparently occurred in the jail cafeteria early Sunday morning, Sheriff’s Lt. Hector Rivera.
Officials declined to release any details of the incident, including how many inmates were involved, how many deputies it took to quell the disturbance or whether anybody was injured.
