Girls’ Rompers Recalled Due to Hazardous Ornaments: The Consumer Product Safety Commission said that necklaces attached to three styles of the garments could cause strangulation. The necklaces, about 26 inches long with a small stuffed doll hanging from the end, could become snagged or twisted around a child’s neck, the commission said. Best Wear Inc. of Los Angeles is recalling style numbers 84P1580 and 84P1581, labeled “Baby’s 2 PCS Romper-Doll,” and 84P1065, “Baby’s 3 PCS Blouse-Romper-Doll.” About 1,200 of them were sold in Los Angeles-area stores in April. The commission advised that the necklaces be removed and the rompers returned for refunds.
