Comics to Perform for Diabetes Group

Yarmy’s Army, a group of comedians including Shelley Berman, Tim Conway, Don Knotts, Harvey Korman and Gary Owens, will perform at Cahuenga Boulevard’s Theatre West tonight and Saturday in “An Evening of Laffs . . .,” a benefit for the theater and the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.

Other Yarmy’s Army performers include Don Adams, Bill Dana, Pat Harrington, Pat McCormick, Tom Poston and Dick Van Patten. The group was formed at the request of late actor and comic Dick Yarmy when he learned he had terminal cancer.
