The Orange County Sheriff’s Department has released an artist’s sketch of a man whose burned and decomposed body was found Aug. 8 in San Clemente.

Two residents looking for a lost animal discovered the body near a construction site in the area of Diamante and Calle Fino Clarete.

Based on bone structure and X-rays, forensic investigators said the man could have been Anglo, Latino or African American, 17 to 23 years old, 5 feet 5 and weighing 105 to 110 pounds. The man was wearing a red, white and blue striped flannel shirt, blue jeans and a black, woven-leather belt.
