Washington 19, Locke 11--Locke piled up 160 first-half yards on the ground, but was shut out in the second half by the Generals in a non-league opening game.
Dennis Northcutt dominated on the ground for Washington with 136 yards in 13 carries, including a 75-yard touchdown run. Saints star running back Sirr Parker carried 15 times for 86 yards and a touchdown. Locke junior tailback Freddie Lee was impressive with 74 yards in 11 carries.
