Looking for a way to work with others to make things better at your school or in your community? Make a Difference Day, a national day of community service, is being celebrated in Orange County on Oct. 22 and offers opportunities to do just that.
The event encourages projects by individual students, service clubs or entire schools. For information, call the Make a Difference Day hot line at (714) 647-2600. Call the same number to request the Volunteer Center of Orange County’s booklet, “101 Ways to Make a Difference.”
