In response to the two Quentin Tarantino-bashing letters last Sunday:
Quentin Tarantino isn’t just in the forefront of a new generation of filmmakers, he is the forefront.
He didn’t get there by getting straight A’s in film school or by worrying why someone in Kansas would want to see his movies. He got there because he has conviction, drive, passion and, yes, talent.
After working on three films with Quentin, I say, thanks--you’re the best film school anyone could ask for.
