ANAHEIM — An 86-year-old woman died Friday night of an apparent heart attack after the car she was driving hit two parked automobiles, police said Saturday.
The victim, who was not identified Saturday pending notification of relatives, was found unconscious inside her Toyota Tercel in the 1200 block of North Placentia Avenue about 6:30 p.m.
The woman regained consciousness in the ambulance and told paramedics that she had suffered severe chest pains before the accident. Before she arrived at the hospital, however, the victim lapsed back into unconsciousness and died a short time later, according to authorities.
No one else was injured in the collision.
