Miramax Films’ “Pulp Fiction” scored a direct hit for the second weekend in a row at the box office. Warner Bros., which last week sparred with Miramax over who had bragging rights to the No. 1 spot, had the weekend’s biggest disappointment in the remake “Love Affair,” starring Warren Beatty and his actress/wife, Annette Bening. The film opened to a lackluster $5.4 million despite heavy marketing and hundreds of sneak previews throughout the country.

Meanwhile, Paramount Pictures’ “Forrest Gump” remained in the top 10 and has grossed over $283 million.
