ALTADENA : Alliance Activities to Mark Firestorm

In commemoration of Altadena-area firestorm victims, the Eaton Canyon Recovery Alliance will sponsor a free breakfast and tree-planting ceremony today, the one-year anniversary of last year’s wildfires. The event, at Eaton Canyon Nature Center, begins at 8 a.m.
In another commemoration event, the alliance will hold a spaghetti dinner from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday at Friends Church in Pasadena. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children.
The alliance represents homeowners in Altadena, Eaton Canyon, Kinneloa Estates and other foothill communities.
