CYPRESS : Stabbing Death of Teen Investigated
Police on Monday were probing the fatal stabbing of an Anaheim teen-ager during a fight in a parking lot Sunday on Ball Road.
Eddie Alexander Young, 18, ran bleeding for a block before collapsing in front of a business, Police Lt. Jim Weuve said.
Police said they had no suspects and it was not known what the fight was about.
Some witnesses said they saw the fight but not the stabbing, which took place about 5:30 p.m. at a business complex in the 6200 block, Weuve said. The attacker fled on foot, he said.
A bystander called 911 and police officers found Young bleeding heavily. Paramedics provided treatment, but Young was pronounced dead at Los Alamitos Medical Center, Weuve said.
