In the Century League:
Orange 3, Canyon 0--Charlene Conley had 14 kills to lead 10th-ranked Orange (14-0, 9-0) over host Canyon, 15-4, 15-5, 15-7.
In the Empire League:
Katella 3, Century 0--Mindy Gundersen had nine kills and Kellie Alva had 10 aces to lead visiting Katella (11-4, 8-1) over Century, 15-2, 15-2, 15-10.
Kennedy 3, El Dorado 0--Lisa Pitt had 12 kills for Kennedy (14-1, 8-1) which won, 15-8, 15-11, 15-9.
In the Olympic League:
Calvary Chapel 3, Orange Lutheran 0--Courtney Owens and Jenny Roberts each had 10 kills for seventh-ranked Calvary Chapel (11-4, 9-0) which won, 15-4, 15-4, 15-3.
In the Orange League:
Valencia 3, Anaheim 0--Michelle Shear had 11 kills for Valencia (12-3, 9-0) which won, 17-15, 15-4, 15-0. The Tigers have won six consecutive league titles.
In the Pacific Coast League:
Laguna Beach 3, Laguna Hills 0--Third-ranked Laguna Beach (14-1, 9-0) clinched the league title with a 15-0, 15-3, 15-2 victory.
In the Sea View League:
Corona del Mar 3, Woodbridge 0--Kelly Campbell had 12 kills for the Sea Kings (7-6, 7-2), who won, 15-8, 16-14, 15-13.
In the Sunset league:
Huntington Beach 3, Edison 2--The fifth-ranked Oilers (12-3, 7-2) beat second-ranked Edison, 8-15, 15-8, 15-11, 12-15, 15-6. Erin McCown had 17 kills for visiting Edison (14-1, 8-1).
Marina 3, Esperanza 1--Marcy Crouch had 17 kills to lead host Marina (10-7, 5-4) over Esperanza (4-5 in league), 15-13, 12-15, 15-9, 15-9.
Fountain Valley 3, Los Alamitos 1--Kristin Moro had 29 kills to lead Fountain Valley (5-7, 3-6) to a 6-15, 15-13, 15-13, 16-14 victory. Stacey Laitsch had 26 kills for Los Alamitos (1-12, 0-9).
In South Coast League Volleyball:
Dana Hills 3, Capistrano Valley 0--Jenny Kessy had 18 kills for sixth-ranked Dana Hills (17-3, 8-0) in a 15-7, 15-12, 15-7 victory.
Mater Dei 3, Mission Viejo 0--Roberta Gehlke had 15 kills and Laurie Layton and Ami Orr each had four aces for visiting Mater Dei (14-4, 7-2), ranked ninth in the county, which won, 15-9, 15-12, 15-7.
In Freeway League girls’ tennis:
Sunny Hills 10, Sonora 8--Host Sunny Hills (10-7) earned a share of the league title with Sonora by winning the match. Both teams finished with 9-1 league records. Dana Rudolph won, 6-0, 6-1, 6-0, and Barbie Bayless won, 6-4, 6-3, 6-2, in singles for Sunny Hills.
Buena Park 9, La Habra 9 (Buena Park wins on games 80-69)--Buena Park (2-13, 1-9) won its first league match in two years. Kelly Placilla swept, 6-0, 6-1, 6-0, and Caroline Corpuz also won, 6-2, 6-3, 6-3, for Buena Park.
In nonleague water polo:
University 10, Tustin 6--Dan Hayes scored six goals for visiting University, which beat the 10th-ranked team in the county. Dave Foley and Ryan Hoff each scored twice for Tustin, which played without three starters, who were out because of injuries.
