YORBA LINDA : Imperial Highway Hearing Is Postponed
A public hearing on the proposed widening of Imperial Highway has been rescheduled for Dec. 6.
The City Council canceled tonight’s hearing after representatives from the Orange County Transportation Authority said they would not be able to attend. OCTA was scheduled to present proposed plans for the project, which is opposed by some residents and business owners.
The City Council called for the public hearing after repeated complaints from two local business owners that residents and merchants had not had adequate opportunities to voice concerns about the project.
The public hearing is now set for 7 p.m. Dec. 6 in council chambers, during the regular City Council meeting.
