FULLERTON : Election Signs Wanted --in Special Dumpster
- Share via
The election is over and firefighters say there is no reason for campaign signs to be up.
They want candidates to know a special trash bin just for campaign placards is waiting for their arrival behind the Commonwealth fire station.
“The city’s cluttered with signs,” Capt. Al Meacham said. “We want to make sure the signs come down before they become an eyesore. The signs serve a purpose before the election, but afterward we want to help clean up the city because they’re junky looking.”
The dumpster will be at 312 E. Commonwealth Ave. until Nov. 22.
Meacham said only campaign signs should be thrown in the dumpster. He said other trash will not be accepted.
