Countywide : CHP Puts Out the Call for New Recruits
The California Highway Patrol has scheduled two officer recruitment seminars in Orange County. The seminars are scheduled for 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Highway Patrol office in Westminster, 13200 Golden West St.
Applicants must be 20 to 31 and have a high school diploma or the equivalent. Recruits also must pass written, physical and psychological tests and undergo a background investigation.
Successful candidates will receive a salary of at least $2,658 per month while attending the California Highway Patrol Academy in Sacramento.
