Pianist Jody Chou, 13, of Irvine won the top prize Saturday in the Saddleback College music competition in Mission Viejo. Chou received $300 after playing a movement of Mozart’s Concerto No. 19. Pianist Becky Kitamura, 22, of Mission Viejo took the second place award, $200; violinist Bertrand Yeung, 11, of Irvine won third place, $100. Pianist Helen Park, 16, of Diamond Bar placed fourth, and violinist Elbert Tzeng, 17, of Irvine was the runner-up. The three top winners will play with the Saddleback Symphony, conducted by Barry Silverman, at the college Feb. 11 and 12. Information: (714) 582-4747.

The Fullerton Museum Center is looking for volunteer docents to work on “Project Discovery,” an educational tour program for young people. Those selected will work Tuesday through Friday mornings and will be instructed in touring technique.
