Five parents profiled on a wanted poster from the Ventura County district attorney’s office have been arrested for failing to pay child support.

The most-wanted “deadbeat parents” poster spotlighting the county’s worst suspected offenders was released Sept. 28. Since then, investigators have located four parents and another has turned himself in, Deputy Dist. Atty. C. Stanley Trom said.

Investigators arrested Jose Luis Leon, William Matuzak, Frances Quintana and Pedro Flores Villareal for failing to make child support payments. Miguel Angel Guevara turned himself in at Ventura County Municipal Court after seeing his photograph on the poster, Trom said.

The five parents owed more than $350,000 in court-ordered support payments, Trom said.

The district attorney’s office has also received tips on the whereabouts of two other parents profiled on the poster, the fourth in a series to be displayed at grocery stores, banks and police stations throughout Ventura County, the prosecutor said.
