* Reva Pashgian; Active in Social Services
Reva Startzer Pashgian, 84, who was active in Pasadena educational and social services. A native of Iowa who moved to Pasadena in 1946, Mrs. Pashgian served on the boards of the Mexican Settlement House, Pasadena YWCA, the Chandler School and the Flintridge Preparatory School Library. She was also active in the Pasadena Philharmonic Assn., the Pasadena Guild of the Childrens Hospital, Friends of the Caltech Y and the Pasadena Presbyterian Church. During World War II, Mrs. Pashgian was an officer of the Women’s Army Air Corps. She earned the rank of major and worked with headquarters staff in Washington. On Nov. 22 in Pasadena of complications from a stroke.
