November Industrial Output Jumps 23.6%: Chinese industries produced goods worth $17.6 billion in November, up 23.6% over the year-ago period, the State Statistics Office reports. The November expansion of industrial production compared with the 24.3% year-on-year growth rate recorded for October. Total output in the first 11 months of the year was up 17.9% over the same period for 1993, the bureau said.
