A Baldwin Park man is in custody on suspicion of posing as a doctor and a dentist and sexually assaulting at least three women in El Monte.

Rodolfo DeJesus Arcia, 35, is being held in county jail on $500,000 bail on suspicion of penetration with a foreign object and sexual consent by fraud. He was arrested on Nov. 3 after making house calls where he improperly examined or sexually abused the women, El Monte Police Detective William Fetner said.

Arcia, who allegedly passed out business cards that say he is a doctor, a dentist and a flying instructor, is believed to have assaulted at least three women since January. Arcia uses the name Dr. Rodolfo Arcia Mendoza on his business cards, Fetner said, adding that the suspect is not licensed by the California Medical Board.
