Police said Friday they will seek a new murder charge against Jack Alan Goga--who this week was charged in the death of a Woodland Hills man--after tentatively identifying a body found in June as that of a Chicago woman who was last seen in Goga’s company.

Los Angeles Police Detective Rick Swanston said authorities are “99% sure” that a body found June 14 near Castaic is that of Digna Adames, 25, who disappeared in mid-June after traveling to Los Angeles with Goga.

Goga, 50, who is being held in police custody in Michigan, has already been charged with the murder of Charles (Chick) Evans, whose body was found in his Woodland Hills home on Dec. 7.

Police say they have tentatively identified the body found near North Ridge and Lake Hughes roads as Adames after viewing coroner’s photographs of bodies found around the time Adames disappeared.

Adames left a 7-year-old son in Chicago in May to travel to Los Angeles with Goga after the former Motown producer promised her a recording contract, family members said.

Adames would call home frequently but the calls stopped after June 10, her father’s birthday, said Adames’ sister Rosa Medino in a telephone interview from Chicago.

Adames was reported missing in early July, and her family spent months agonizing over her fate.

“I just hope he gets what he deserves,” Medino said of Goga on Friday. Of her sister, Medino said, “We just want to get the remains and bury her.”

Police say they believe Goga killed Evans, 60, after the Woodland Hills man tried to get his house guest to leave.
