Casitas Plants Trout, but Bass Get Harvested

“We had a couple of trout plants in the past week and it really perked the bass up,” spokeswoman Gwen Fraser said at Ventura County’s Lake Casitas.
It did indeed. Paul Beppu of Ventura used an AC Plug, which sort of resembles a trout, to catch bass weighing 14 and nine pounds. Other big bass were an 11 3/4-pounder caught by Charles Razo of Oxnard and an 11-pounder by Jim Mason of Oak View.
