SPECIAL TO THE TIMES

After all the holiday activities--plays, concerts, parades and the like--that have been going on in Santa Barbara County recently, this coming week might seem a little on the quiet side.

But there will still be festive displays at the malls and along main thoroughfares and, if you like artwork or wine, there is still plenty of reason to make the trip north of the Ventura County line.

If family guests are in town for the holidays or you simply have some time off work, you might consider traveling through Santa Barbara County’s wine country.
