Garden Grove Woman Dies in 2-Car Crash

SANTA ANA — A Garden Grove woman was killed and her husband injured in a car crash Thursday morning, police said.
Nga Le, 40, died when the couple’s car collided with another car crossing the intersection at 1st Street and Fairview Road, said Sgt. Dick Faust.
Le’s husband, Ngoc Nguyen, 41, was in stable condition at UCI Medical Center in Orange after the 9:45 a.m. crash, Faust said.
The couple’s car was eastbound on 1st Street through the intersection when it collided with a northbound car, Faust said.
Police were sorting through conflicting accounts of the circumstances, including which car had a green light and whether anyone was wearing a seat belt, Faust said.
