Chris Webber, playing his first game against the Warriors in Oakland since his Nov. 17 trade to Washington for Tom Gugliotta and three first-round picks, suffered a dislocated left shoulder Thursday night in a 107-87 loss to the Warriors, who ended a 10-game losing streak.

Washington has lost eight in a row.

Latrell Sprewell, booed when he exchanged a pregame hug with Webber, scored 26 points and Gugliotta added 18 points and 13 rebounds for the Warriors.

Washington was in the middle of a 14-0 run when Webber went down in a third-quarter scramble for a loose ball. Scott Skiles’ 17-foot jumper and a free throw by Juwan Howard gave Washington a 63-56 lead with 6:10 left in the third quarter.

Golden State regained control by answering with a 14-3 run that began and ended with baskets by Sprewell. The Warriors, who got 17 points from Chris Gatling and 16 points each from Tim Hardaway and Rony Seikaly, pulled away in the final quarter.

Webber endured overwhelming boos throughout the night. Some fans held signs reading, “No whining, No crying, No Webber.” Others showed support, saying “I miss Chris” or “I love Chris.”

Every time he touched the ball, he had to play through catcalls of “baby!” and “timeout!” a reference to his mistaken timeout call at Michigan in the NCAA final.
