One Way to Go
In response to Supervisor-elect Marian Bergeson’s comment that she was not sure how she could get around her sprawling district after turning down her county car (“2 Supervisors Pledge 5% Cuts in Their Salaries,” Dec. 22), I suggest she do what the rest of us do: drive her own car.
I don’t take exception to the fact that supervisors get free cars, but given her position on this issue, Mrs. Bergeson should have the capacity to realize that it is possible to drive a car that is not paid for by tax dollars.
