SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO : Applicants Sought for Vector Control Board
The city is seeking applicants for a vacancy on the board of trustees for the Orange County Vector Control District. The City Council is scheduled to appoint a representative on Jan. 17.
The board handles issues of rodent and insect control and diseases caused by such vectors. Board members receive $50 a month to cover mileage expenses.
Applicants must live in the city. Applications are available at City Hall, 32400 Paseo Adelanto, or by calling City Hall at (714) 493-1171 weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The county Vector Control District Board meets at 3:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month at district offices in Garden Grove.
