Pasadena’s Richard Won’t Seek Reelection
After a tumultuous four years, including three council censures and an arrest for disrupting a council meeting, Pasadena City Councilman Isaac Richard is not running for reelection.
Richard, who could not be reached for comment, did not submit the nomination papers required for seeking reelection by the 5:30 p.m. Friday deadline.
Richard, 37, a strong advocate of African American causes, was arrested for disrupting a City Council meeting in November. No charges have been filed in the case.
