Emulex Corp.: The Costa Mesa manufacturer of computer networking products said profit for its second fiscal quarter, which ended Jan. 1, totaled $1.3 million, or 21 cents a share. That contrasted with a loss of $15.9 million, or $2.88 a share, for the same period a year earlier. Revenue was up 30% to $18.3 million from $14.1 million. Profit for the first half was $2 million, or 32 cents a share, contrasted with a loss of $15.9 million, or $2.87 a share, for the first six months of the previous fiscal year. Six-month revenue increased 36% to $36.8 million from $27 million.
