The Jacksons: The Next Generation? Tito Jackson’s three sons--T.J., 16, Taryll, 19, and Taj, 21--have a debut album due in June on their uncle Michael’s MJJ label, billing themselves as 3T. They had a single on the “Free Willy” soundtrack and are lined up to contribute a song to the sequel. Producers on the group’s album include Michael himself and Teddy Riley. . . .

If Ace of Base could sell more than 5 million albums in the U.S. without touring, what can the Swedish pop quartet do with a trek? We might find out: The group will probably hit the road to support its next album, which is being recorded now and will likely be out in fall. . . .

Paul Westerberg is writing songs for his second album since leaving the Replacements. He’ll start recording in a few months. . . .

The soundtrack for the movie “New Jersey Drive” (Spike Lee is executive producer) is now set to spawn two different record releases--an album including tracks by Naughty by Nature, Coolio and Heavy D (due March 14) and an EP highlighting several lesser-known hard-core hip-hoppers (due in late March). . . . Rapper Bushwick Bill of the Geto Boys has a new album due April 25, the second release from the Raps-a-Lot Records distribution deal with Virgin Records. . . .

Virgin has also signed Dutch hip-hop-rock band Urban Dance Squad, with an album due March 7. . . . Faith No More’s new album will be titled “King for a Day, Fool for a Lifetime,” and appropriately is due March 28--right before April Fool’s Day. . . .

Sheena Easton returns after an album of standards with a new pop album, “My Cherie,” due March 14. She’s also set to do the lead female voice of Sasha the Irish Setter in the sequel to the animated film “All Dogs Go to Heaven,” playing opposite Charlie Sheen.*
