Dodger, Angel Coaches Get the OK to Work With Replacement Players

The Dodgers and Angels will permit their managers and coaches to work with replacement players during spring training and, if necessary, the regular season, the clubs said Monday.

The Toronto Blue Jays last week said they would not let their major league coaching staff work with replacement players. Other teams have not made public whatever decisions they have made.

Also, major league baseball announced that 71% of season tickets had been renewed despite the strike. The Dodgers said their season ticket renewals are at 90%. The Angels said their renewal rate is 57%, but that they have not received all of their responses.
