Ann Richards to Hold Campaign ‘Garage Sale’

AUSTIN, Tex. —
The nuts and bolts of former Gov. Ann Richards’ political machine are up for sale.
Her campaign will hold a “garage sale” Saturday at her former campaign headquarters, where the lease expires Feb. 1. Richards, a Democrat, lost her reelection bid to Republican Gov. George W. Bush on Nov. 8.
