In other Orange Empire Conference men’s basketball games:

Cypress 88, Golden West 84--Cypress led at halftime, 46-42. Golden West (8-18, 2-8) went on an 18-4 run to take the lead with 8:20 remaining. But the Chargers (15-14, 2-8) regained the lead on a three-pointer by Jeff Rutter with 3:51 left. Golden West tied the score at 78-78, but the Chargers took a four-point lead on free throws by Rutter and Jason Krauss.

Matt Kenney scored 23 points for Cypress. He was four of four from three-point range and eight of nine from the line. Krauss added 22 points and seven rebounds. Michael Dean scored 24 for the Rustlers.

Fullerton 66, Rancho Santiago 64--Scott Davis hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to give Fullerton the victory.

Davis took the inbounds pass on the run and shot from about six feet behind the three-point line as time expired. Fullerton’s Jason Cunningham had 24 points and Marcus Austin had 17 for the Hornets (12-15, 3-7). Nick Holt had 24 points and Jimmy Harris had 18, including five three-pointers, for Rancho Santiago (19-7, 7-3). Austin had one blocked shot, tying Golden West’s Greg Vanden Ordel for the conference single-season record with 49.

Saddleback 85, Orange Coast 78 (3 OT)--Orange Coast went on a 14-0 run in the last five minutes of regulation. The Gauchos (17-11, 3-5) blew a six-point lead, forcing the second overtime. Ja’keena Bacon hit a basket with two seconds left to reach the third overtime.
