NHL ROUNDUP : Amonte’s Goal Lifts Blackhawks

Tony Amonte put the puck under Trevor Kidd 2 minutes 25 seconds into overtime as the Chicago Blackhawks continued their mastery of the Calgary Flames with a 4-3 victory on Friday night at Calgary.
Amonte was standing three feet in front of the crease when he took a pass from Jeremy Roenick, stationed behind the net. The goal was Amonte’s second of the season.
The Blackhawks are 9-0-1 in their last 10 games against the Flames.
Edmonton 5, Toronto 3--Todd Marchant scored the tiebreaking goal with 3:18 to play and Shayne Corson added an empty-net goal in the final seconds at Edmonton as the Oilers ended a five-game losing streak.
