Gonzaga Rolls Over Pepperdine, 93-67
John Rillie scored 25 points to lead Gonzaga to a 93-67 victory over Pepperdine on Saturday night at Spokane, Wash.
Gonzaga, 13-7 overall and 2-6 in the West Coast Conference, made 54.5% of its shots, including 11 of 20 three-pointers.
Pepperdine (7-13, 3-5) was led by Gerald Brown, who had 19 points and seven rebounds.
“We were forced to play catch-up the whole game, and that is tough for a team that has had its struggles on the road,” Pepperdine Coach Tony Fuller said.
The Waves, who made 36.9% of their shots, are 1-11 on the road.
