LA HABRA : Library Bookstore Seeks Used Volumes
Used books are being sought to sell at the local library’s bookstore so the library can buy new material and programs.
The bookstore, which is located in the library on La Habra Boulevard, is run by the Friends of the La Habra Library, a volunteer organization dedicated to helping the library.
Book donations are being accepted in a bin next to the checkout counter in the library.
“In this time of serious cutbacks, public support of the library is more critical than ever,” Friends President Barbara Johnson said.
