Waste Disposal Center Cuts Operating Hours
HUNTINGTON BEACH —
Because of the Orange County bankruptcy, there will be a reduction of operating hours of the Huntington Beach Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center, 17121 Nichols St. The center was previously open Monday through Saturday.
The center will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. or until 100 cars have visited.
Only waste from households will be accepted, such as paint, auto batteries, motor oil, household cleaners and pesticides. A maximum of five gallons or 50 pounds may be brought per visit.
