COLLEGE BASKETBALL ROUNDUP : Allen Leads Rally by Connecticut
Ray Allen matched his career high with 31 points and No. 4 Connecticut used a 19-2 run early in the second half Tuesday night for an 88-75 comeback victory over Boston College at Hartford, Conn.
The Huskies, 21-2 overall and 14-1 in the Big East, trailed by nine three times in the second half before making the run that sent them to their 15th consecutive victory over Boston College (8-15, 2-13).
No. 6 Kentucky 72, No. 20 Alabama 52--The Wildcats (19-4, 11-2 Southeastern Conference) moved a step closer to their first SEC title in nine years with a rout of Alabama (18-7, 8-5) at Tuscaloosa, Ala.
No. 10 Michigan State 67, Michigan 64--Shawn Respert and Quinton Brooks each scored 21 points as the Spartans (19-4, 11-3 Big Ten) defeated the Wolverines (14-11, 8-5) at East Lansing, Mich.
No. 17 Syracuse 85, Pittsburgh 72--John Wallace’s 20 points led the Orangemen (18-6, 11-4 Big East), who almost blew a 29-point second-half lead at home against the Panthers (7-16, 3-12).

Mark Hendrickson scored 24 points to lead Washington State (14-8) to an 89-71 victory over Seattle Pacific (17-8) at Pullman, Wash.
College Basketball Notes
The Massachusetts-Rutgers game, suspended at halftime because of a student sit-in, will be resumed March 3 at the Spectrum in Philadelphia, Atlantic 10 Conference officials said. . . . Nevada Las Vegas Coach Tim Grgurich might sit out the rest of the season.
