Puddingstone Reservoir Becomes Bass Heaven

Puddingstone Reservoir is not one of the Southland’s premier trophy bass fisheries, but don’t tell that to Bob Coppel.
The angler from Rancho Cucamonga, fishing with crawfish, recently pulled in 16 bass, including two that weighed more than 10 pounds and two more of eight pounds or better.
“They’ve been moving into the shallows out on the east shore, and he was sitting right on a hump they were moving over and was in the right place at the right time,” said Lonnie Lautenschlager, a spokesman at the San Dimas lake.
