Elderly Man Hit, Killed by Truck
BURBANK —
An 82-year-old Burbank man was killed when he was hit by a large truck as he crossed a street, police said Wednesday.
The man, Robustiano Cabrera, was crossing Buena Vista Street between Victory Boulevard and Kittridge Street at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday when a truck driven by Gregory Ferguson, 37, of Burbank, ran into him, Lt. Don Brown said.
Cabrera died at St. Joseph Medical Center about two hours later, Brown said.
Ferguson has not been arrested, and there is no evidence he or Cabrera was intoxicated, Brown said.
