Daly Not Worthy of Murray’s Praise?
It is obvious that Jim Murray and other sports commentators are out of touch with the times.
John Daly has been sent off the PGA Tour to get his life together, and there have been stories of alcoholism and wife abuse. Somehow, I cannot separate this aspect of his personality from this man I see on the golf course, hitting the ball farther than other golfers. I do not admire John Daly and I do not like to see sportswriters holding him up as a hero.
