NHL ROUNDUP : Larmer Leads Rangers Past Flyers

Steve Larmer had two goals and an assist in the second period as the New York Rangers broke out of a Madison Square Garden scoring slump to beat the Philadelphia Flyers, 5-3, Friday night.
The Rangers, who had scored only three goals in their previous three games at home, scored four in the second period. New York is 9-3-3 in its last 15 games after a 2-5 start.
Chicago 5, Edmonton 2--Patrick Poulin’s goal at 11:57 of the third period, his ninth of the season, broke a 2-2 tie, and handed the Oilers their fourth consecutive loss.
