Cincinnati General Manager Jim Bowden said some minor leaguers have been threatened with bodily harm if they play in exhibition games during the strike. He did not identify any of the players and several denied receiving any threats. . . . Michael Jordan did not show up for Chicago White Sox workouts, one day after cleaning out his locker and saying he did not know when he would return. General Manager Ron Schueler said Jordan does not have to report until minor league camp opens Thursday.
