THOUSAND OAKS : Members Sought for Budget Task Force

Share

Residents of Thousand Oaks with a yen for number-crunching have a few more days to apply for the Community Budget Task Force, city officials said.

The city is trying a new review process for the upcoming two-year budget, and is inviting residents to participate. Each council member will appoint four people to the task force, which will meet every other week beginning March 27.

The group will look over city revenues, expenditures, investments and other budget issues within all city departments before making recommendations to the City Council by the end of May, City Manager Grant Brimhall said.
