From Associated Press

The Florida Panthers learned the hard way Saturday night that an angry Eric Lindros can be hazardous to your record.

After going to the penalty box early for unsportsmanlike conduct, Lindros scored three goals, including the game winner in overtime, and assisted on Philadelphia’s other goal as the Flyers won their seventh in a row, 4-3, at Miami.

Lindros, who moved into a tie with Pittsburgh’s Jaromir Jagr for the NHL scoring lead with 41 points, has 16 goals and 25 assists in 26 games.

“I didn’t help our team by sitting in the box,” Lindros said. “I guess I made up for it.”
